A Decade of Dreams, A Mission to Transform India’s Sporting Future
Some dreams refuse to fade. Some beliefs refuse to surrender. And some journeys, no matter how long or difficult, continue because the destination is bigger than oneself.
For nearly a decade, I have carried a dream close to my heart — to discover the hidden sporting talent in every modest corner of India. To ensure that a child’s sporting future is not limited by geography, financial circumstances, lack of exposure, or the absence of the right opportunities.
I always believed that somewhere in the smallest villages, the most humble neighbourhoods, and the most overlooked corners of our country, there are extraordinary sporting talents waiting to be discovered. All they need is the right opportunity, the right scientific assessment, and someone who believes in their potential.
Today, that dream has taken a significant step towards reality.
It is an immensely emotional and proud moment for me to hand over the talent identification reports, generated through the powerful convergence of human intelligence and technological brilliance, to Mr. Mulrajsinh Chudasama, Secretary of the Gujarat State Football Association — an approach we proudly call SPORTS INTELLIGENCE.
This is not merely a report. It represents years of dreaming, questioning, learning, pursuing, and believing. It is an attempt to bring science, technology, real-time match data, behavioural analysis, and human expertise together to create a more intelligent, transparent, and scientific pathway for discovering sporting talent.
My heartfelt gratitude to Bosch and the Evoco platform for supporting this journey, and to Professor Jan Meyer, Dr. Bimal Roy, and everyone who has contributed their knowledge, expertise, and commitment to this vision. A special word of thanks to Vikresh and his entire team at Bosch, particularly Deepak, for believing in our ambition. I am equally grateful to Abhishek of DD Sports for supporting this initiative and encouraging what many might have considered an ambitious sporting experiment.
Sometimes, what the world calls madness is simply a dream that refuses to give up.
The spark behind this journey was ignited when I listened to our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, speak from the ramparts of the Red Fort about India’s sporting ambitions and the vision of hosting the Olympic Games in 2036. That vision made me reflect on a fundamental question: How can India prepare for that future if we do not build a robust, scientific, and technology-driven system to discover and nurture our talent today?
The answer, I believed, lay in creating a new ecosystem for talent identification — one that could combine the intelligence of technology with the wisdom of human observation.
Our Prime Minister has given India a vision of what we aspire to achieve on the global sporting stage. I believe the next step is to build the scientific sporting ecosystem that can turn this ambition into reality — one that combines human intelligence, sports science, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and advanced talent-identification technologies to discover gifted young athletes from every corner of our country, including its most modest and underserved communities.
The vision of Olympic glory in 2036 must begin with the scientific discovery of talent today. Every child with sporting potential deserves the opportunity to be identified, assessed, nurtured, and guided through a structured development pathway. This is how we can build a sustainable talent pipeline, strengthen India’s sporting foundations, and transform our Prime Minister’s vision into a nationwide mission for sporting excellence.
That belief has now found an important platform in Gujarat.
Through the Gujarat State Football Association and the Gujarat Super League, we introduced Sports Intelligence to help identify outstanding Under-20 footballing talent. By analysing live-match performance, real-time data, and behavioural patterns, alongside human intelligence, we are exploring a more comprehensive and innovative approach to understanding a player’s potential.
My sincere gratitude to Gujarat State Football Association President Shri Parimal Nathwani ji, Secretary Shri Mulrajsinh ji and the entire association for placing their trust in us. I also thank every Gujarat Super League team owner who believed in this initiative and gave us the opportunity to turn an idea into action.
Your trust means more than words can express.
Today, I do not see this as the culmination of a decade-long pursuit. I see it as the beginning of something much bigger.
A beginning where talent identification becomes more scientific.
A beginning where technology reaches beyond metropolitan cities.
A beginning where a young footballer from a modest background gets a fairer chance to be seen.
A beginning where sporting aspirations are supported by evidence, expertise, and a clear pathway to excellence.
And while football has provided us with this important starting point, the larger vision extends across sports — to build an ecosystem that can help India identify, nurture, and develop its next generation of champions.
I dream of an India where no talented child remains undiscovered simply because nobody was looking in the right place. An India where every sporting aspirant has the opportunity to dream big, work hard, receive scientific guidance, and pursue excellence.
The road ahead is long. There will be challenges, questions, and much more work to do. But today has strengthened my conviction that when passionate people, progressive institutions, human intelligence, and technology come together, seemingly impossible ideas can begin to take shape.
To everyone who stood beside me, challenged me, encouraged me, and believed in this mission — thank you for being part of this journey.
This moment is deeply personal. It carries the emotions of a decade, the faith of a dreamer, and the responsibility of someone who believes that India’s sporting future deserves nothing less than our very best.
My ultimate dream remains unchanged: to help make India a true sporting nation, recognised by the world not only for its passion for sport, but also for its ability to discover, nurture, and produce sporting excellence.
Let us find the talent.
Let us nurture the potential.
Let us build the pathway.
And let us give every deserving sporting aspirant the opportunity to reach the highest level of excellence.
Because India’s next sporting champion could be growing up in a place the world has never noticed.
It is our responsibility to find them. It is our duty to nurture them. And it is our collective dream to help them shine on the world stage.
The journey continues. The dream lives on.
From hidden talent to global excellence — this is Sports Intelligence. And this is only the beginning.
