My journey in Germany has been marked by many memorable moments, but few as meaningful as the time spent with Shri B. S. Mubarak, Consul Genera,Consulate General of India in Frankfurt.
In the corridors of diplomacy, it is rare to find a leader who listens before he speaks, who walks among the people rather than above them. He has been that rare presence—a diplomat not just of policy, but of the people.
His unwavering commitment to strengthening Indo-German relations has been nothing short of inspiring. I had the privilege to witness this firsthand—especially during the celebration of International Yoga Day at the iconic DFB Campus. It was a symbolic event, blending the soul of India with the spirit of German football, jointly organized with the DFB’s gracious support.
His encouragement extended beyond diplomacy—it touched communities. The Sunday Football League initiative for Indian diaspora kids in Frankfurt at FSV Frankfurt stands as a testament to his inclusive vision. His presence has uplifted every effort, every initiative aimed at fostering cultural and sporting ties between India and Germany.
As he prepares for his next chapter, I carry with me a deep sense of gratitude and admiration.
