From Kashmir’s Craft to the Alps’ Ice — The Spirit of Cricket Unites
From the frozen heart of St. Moritz — cricket’s most poetic frontier since 1988 — came another chapter etched in snow and spirit.Andrew Hartridge of Tallinn Hippos Cricket Club (Estonia) was crowned Player of the Tournament at Cricket on Ice 2026, on that surreal lake where bat and ball meet upon ice beneath the watchful Alps.
It was an absolute honour to present him with symbols of heritage — a designer blazer hand‑crafted in Kashmir, land cradled by the Himalayas, and a Sozni‑embroidered scarf, each thread spun with patience by master artisans. The blazer, inspired by the ancient Kani weave, carries the regal motifs once worn by kings — reimagined in modern grace. Curated with soul by Pumposh.Andrew’s team, the Tallinn Hippos, lifted the Cricket on Ice Championship Trophy, etching Estonia’s pride before the eyes of the global cricketing fraternity.
Between Kashmir in the midst of the Himalayas and St. Moritz in the heart of the Alps, artistry and sport embrace each other — both timeless, both born of nature’s grace and human passion. On that frozen lake, amid the whispering Alps breeze, cricket once again proved itself more than a game — an ode to culture, craftsmanship, and the courage to dream beyond boundaries.
